Unbounce is a service that allows you to create, split test, and optimize landing pages for your web site. A crucial part of any landing page is of course a sign up form, so we were thrilled to hear that the good people over at Unbounce decided to integrate with us via our API.

The folks at Unbounce were nice enough to put together a video on integrating AWeber with their service, so take a look.

If you prefer text and images for a setup process, we've included a step by step walkthrough of the process as well - images courtesy of the fine folks at Unbounce.

Step By Step Instructions

  1. In your Unbounce account, on the page overview screen, click "Send Leads to AWeber" under the "Leads & Form Integrations" section.

  2. At this point, we will prompt you to enter your AWeber account login and password in order to authorize the integration. This information is not given to Unbounce at any time.

Note: If you have followed this setup process before, the application is trying to connect prompt may not appear.

  3. After authorizing the integration, choose the list you'd like your Unbounce subscribers added to, then click the "Complete" button.

  4. Next, you'll need to log into your AWeber account. Once you're logged in, make sure that you're working in the list you chose to integrate with.

Then, select Email Parsers from the "List Options" tab.

  5. On this page, scroll down and check the box labeled Unbounce Form Submission in order to complete the integration.

Following these steps will sync your AWeber and Unbounce accounts so that subscribers to your Unbounce landing pages will have their names and email addresses added to your list. If you'd like to transfer more information to your AWeber account, such as your Unbounce Page ID or any other information that you collected from the subscriber, take a look at the advanced integration tutorial Unbounce put together on their site.
