How wide should I make my email template?

Whenever you create a Broadcast in your list you have the option to select a template. All AWeber templates are 600 pixels wide by design. We do this for several reasons.

Consistency

All email providers render HTML in a slightly different way. By keeping all of our templates the same width, we are able to provide the most consistent experience across all platforms.

Readability

As your subscribers will be accessing these messages on their desktop, laptop, mobile device, or tablet, we keep our templates the same width. This provides an easy-to-read format that is the same for all of your messages regardless of the device used to view them.

Mobile-Responsiveness

A message can be read on any number of devices and mail app programs. To provide the best experience across these different services, we use something called a media query to adjust our templates. As our templates are mobile-responsive, the consistent 600 pixel width gives our designers the ability to standardize their media query settings.
