What is a squeeze page?

A squeeze page is a page of a website that governs access to the rest of the website.

Squeeze pages typically contain a small amount of content along with an opt-in sign up form. In order to gain access to the rest of the website, a visitor must enter their email address into the sign up form. They are then provided access to the rest of the site, or instructions for accessing the rest of the site.
