Can I Put A Sign Up Form On My Site Without Using The Sign Up Form Tool?

We recommend using the "Sign Up Form" tool to get a sign up form on your site.

But if you just want a basic form and don't want to use the sign up form tool, you can copy and paste some basic form HTML onto your site, and then make a couple small adjustments to it, and it'll work just fine. To process this, you will need to take the following steps.

Copy the HTML Below.

<form action="http://www.aweber.com/scripts/addlead.pl" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="listname" value="YOUR-UNIQUE-LIST-ID">
<input type="hidden" name="redirect" value="YOUR-THANK-YOU-PAGE">
<input type="hidden" name="meta_adtracking" value="">
<input type="hidden" name="meta_message" value="1">
<input type="hidden" name="meta_required" value="email">
<input type="hidden" name="meta_forward_vars" value="0">
<table>
<tr>
<td>Name:</td><td><input type="text" name="name" value=""></td>
</tr> <tr>
<td>Email:</td><td><input type="text" name="email" value=""></td>
</tr> <tr>
<td align="center" colspan="2"><input name="submit" value="Subscribe" type="submit" /></td>
</tr>
</table>
</form>

Change the following lines of code.

You'll see a line that reads:

<input type="hidden" name="listname" value="YOUR-UNIQUE-LIST-ID">

Replace "YOUR-UNIQUE-LIST-ID" with your AWeber unique list ID.

You'll also see a line that reads:

<input type="hidden" name="redirect" value="YOUR-THANK-YOU-PAGE">

Replace "YOUR-THANK-YOU-PAGE" with the URL of your site that you want people to go to after they fill out your form. Make sure that you include the complete URL, starting with the "http://" part.
