Can I add subscribers to more than one list at once?
You can use automation rules to subscribe or unsubscribe people to/from a list, based on them subscribing or unsubscribing to/from a different list.
Note: you can only have one list while on the AWeber Free plan, so this feature is not accessible on the AWeber Free plan. Upgrade your account to unlock this feature and many more by clicking here, or by contacting our Customer Solutions team.
Further instructions on how to upgrade your account if needed can be found here.
Available Automation Rules
Rule | Example |
subscribe-on-subscribe | Joe signs up to list A. He is automatically also subscribed to list B. |
unsubscribe-on-subscribe | Joe subscribes to list A. He is automatically unsubscribed from list B. |
unsubscribe-on-unsubscribe | Joe unsubscribes from list A. He is automatically unsubscribed from list B. |
To Create An Automation Rule
Click the "List" drop-down menu in the navigation bar and select the list that you want people to be added to (in the case of subscribe-on-subscribe) or removed from (in the case of unsubscribe-on-subscribe or unsubscribe-on-unsubscribe).
Click the "Automations" tab and select "List Automation."
Click the "Add Automation" button to get started.
An "Edit Automation" box will pop over the page. Choose the action that you want from the "Action" drop-down menu, and choose the list for the action from the "List" drop-down. In the example below, the subscriber will be subscribed to "VIP Access" when they subscribe to "Commander AJ's AWesome List."
Click the "Save" button, and you're done!
