How does AWeber's Advocate program work?

When you join AWeber's Advocate Program, you are provided with a dedicated referral URL. It will look something like this:

http://www.aweber.com/easy-email.htm?id=XXXXXX

You can also add your referral ID to the end of any https://www.aweber.com/ page. For example:

https://www.aweber.com/email-automation.htm?id=XXXXXX

Once you have this link, you'll be able to begin advertising AWeber to your network. Just make sure you have read and abide by our Advocate Agreement.

When a prospect visits your unique referral link, they will be directed to the AWeber homepage and your referral cookie will be added to their browser. If you customize another https://www.aweber.com/ page, they will be redirected to that specific page and the cookie will still track your information. The cookie will remain in the browser for 90 days, or until the potential customer manually clears out the cookies from their browser.

When they order an AWeber account, that referral information is submitted automatically with their order, and you earn between 30% - 50% referral payment on that sale.

Here is the commission payout structure:

  • 30% Commission - For referring 0 – 99 new paid accounts within a trailing 12-month period.

  • 40% Commission - For referring 100 – 499 new paid accounts within a trailing 12-month period.

  • 50% Commission - For referring 500+ new paid accounts within a trailing 12-month period.

Your referral payments are recurring for the entire time the customer account remains open. Since AWeber is a recurring service, each time that person pays an invoice for the next period of service you earn a referral payment on that payment as well. As long as they have their account, you earn referral payments for it!
