How is an Affiliate Account different from a Customer Account?

AWeber customer accounts enables you to send autoresponder and broadcast messages to your opt-in subscribers. Customers pay for the AWeber service on a recurring basis.

The AWeber affiliate account, on the other hand, enables you to earn commissions by referring customers to AWeber. Affiliate accounts do not include any of the email functionality of customer accounts.

Customer and Affiliate accounts are totally separate, and you don't have to sign up for one to sign up for the other. You are certainly welcome to sign up for both if you want to, though!
