When you join AWeber's Customer Referral Program, you will be given a referral URL. You then advertise your referral URL (just make sure you abide by our Customer Referral Agreement). When a prospect visits your unique referral URL, they see the AWeber home page, just as if they visited http://www.aweber.com directly. When they come to the site through your referral URL, their computer tells us that you referred them to us.
How do I sign up for an advocate account?
If you wish to promote AWeber's permission based email marketing service to other business owners, the first step is to sign up for an account.
You will be provided with an unique referral number and our set password, which will give you access to a control panel with everything you need to get started on earning payments.
Note: If you are an existing customer wishing to promote the service, you will still need to sign up for the separate, free advocate account.
What is my unique Referral ID?
Your Referral ID is a unique number assigned to you when you set up your advocate account - note that this is separate from your customer account. It is visible in your advocate account at the top of the page.
