Why is my open rate 0%? My message has been read!

Open rate tracking is only possible for messages that include an HTML version. If you are sending a plain text-only message, we cannot track how many times that message is opened.

AWeber utilizes a 1 x 1 tracking pixel in every HTML message. Whenever your subscriber opens that messages in their inbox, it will display that pixel and track as an open in AWeber.

If you are sending Plain Text Messages in your list, we cannot track opens. Plain text messages will display opens based on whether or not your subscriber has clicked a link in that message. These are referred to as “inferred opens”.
