How do I test my message?

You can see a preview of your messages or send yourself a test version. This is a great way to make sure your messages look exactly how you want them before they get sent out to your list.

Please Note: Upon verifying your email you will have no limitations when sending test messages to that verified email.

Step by Step Instructions

1. When editing a message, at the top right corner of the editor, click "Preview & Test".
   
   
   
   
2. This will take you to the "Preview & Test" page. You can check out your message's appearance on this page. To send a test version of your message, enter your email address into the "Email Address" field on the right-hand side of the page.
   
   
   
   Below the "Email Address" field, you will see the "Personalize" section. You can add any personalization fields that you're using (for instance, if you're using the "First Name" personalization), including any custom fields.
   
   
   
   Then, click the "Send Test Message" button to send yourself a test copy of the message.
   
   
   
   
3. To test a draft that you've already saved, select "Send a Test" from the options under the subject line.
   
   
   
   
4. In the window that pops over the page, enter your email address in the first field.
   
   
   
   If you're using a personalization, click the "Personalize" button. Then, fill out any personalization fields that you are using (such as name or any other of your list's custom fields). Next, click "Send Test" to send a test copy to yourself.
   
   

That's it! You'll now receive a test message to your email you can view to make sure your content is displayed how you would like.
