Can I put Flash in HTML messages?
Adobe stopped supporting Flash in 2020. While it might be technically possible to embed Flash in an HTML message, we do not recommend doing so.
For security reasons, most email programs will block Flash from running in messages. This means your messages may not render properly and could result in spam complaints, negatively affecting your email deliverability.
If you have a Flash video or file that you want your subscribers to access, consider these alternatives:
- Upload the Flash content to a page on your website and include a link to that page in your email.
- Take a screenshot of the Flash file or video, add the screenshot to your message, and hyperlink the image to the page on your website where the Flash content is hosted.
These methods ensure that your subscribers can still access your Flash content without compromising the security and deliverability of your email messages.
