How can I send entire blog posts in my Blog Broadcast?
AWeber Blog Broadcast templates display an excerpt of each blog post by default. If you want to display the full contents of a blog post instead, you can use blog broadcast variables to accomplish this.
Step by Step Instructions
- Go to the Blog Broadcast page and select the blog broadcast you want to edit, or create a new blog broadcast.
- In the "HTML Message" section of the Blog Broadcast editor, locate the variable that says {!rss_item_description} and replace it with the variable {!rss_item_content}.
The variable {!rss_item_content} will display any HTML and images within the <content> tags that are between the <item> tags for each blog post. Be sure to test your blog broadcast to make sure the HTML content displays correctly in popular email clients.
If some of the content or images do not appear in your blog broadcast even when using the content tag, you may need to speak with your web designer or work with your feed software to make sure that it is properly encoding the HTML from your blog.
