How Do I Send A Broadcast Message To Multiple Lists?

With an AWeber account, you have the ability to create as many campaigns as you'd like in order to segment your subscribers and target them with only relevant information.

Sometimes, however, you have a message to send that applies to everyone, or perhaps a specific combination of your campaigns. Fortunately, when composing a broadcast message from one campaign, you have the option to include others in the mailing.

Step By Step Instructions

While editing or creating a broacast message, click "Publish" at the top of the editor.



To the right, under "Send Options", you'll find the "Include/Exclude" Lists section. Just check the "Include" box next to the list you'd like to include.



Note: If you do not need to check the "Exclude" for lists you do not want to include - simply do not check the "Include" box. Learn more about the Exclude function.

Don't forget to save your message when you're done!

Using AWeber's Previous Editor?

  1. When editing or creating a broadcast, scroll down to the "Include or Exclude Other Lists?" area and check the box there.

  2. Then, simply check the "Include" box next to the list you would like to include.

    Note: You do not need to check the "Exclude" for lists you do not want to include - simply do not check the Include box. Learn more about the Exclude function.

  3. Once you're done, click "Save" to save your work. Then, send your message as normal and everyone on the lists that you included will be sent a copy of the message as well.

    Our system deduplicates the sending of your messages so that if someone happens to be subscribed to more than one of the lists you've included in the sending of your message, they will receive only one copy.

After your broadcast is sent, it will show under the "Sent" section of the "Broadcasts" page. To see the list(s) that were included in the sent broadcast, just hover your mouse over "Includes...additional lists" under the subject line of the broadcast. A tooltip will pop up that shows the lists the broadcast was sent to.
