How do I send a Broadcast message to multiple lists?

With an AWeber account, you have the ability to create as many campaigns as you'd like in order to segment your subscribers and target them with only relevant information.

Sometimes, however, you have a message to send that applies to everyone, or perhaps a specific combination of your campaigns. Fortunately, when composing a broadcast message from one campaign, you have the option to include others in the mailing.

Notes: If you want any subscribers suppressed from receiving that message, they would need to be suppressed on the list you are sending the broadcast from. This is even if they are not on that particular list.

Multiple List Automatic Deduplication

If someone is actively subscribed to multiple lists to be sent the broadcast message, the subscriber will only receive one broadcast message. The system will recognize the subscriber as being on more than one list and only send them one copy of your message.

From Address Settings

The From name and address displayed on the sent message will be consistent with the list the message is created and sent from, even if the subscribers receiving it are on other included lists that have different From name and address settings.

Step By Step Instructions

After you've created your message, click the "Schedule" button to send/schedule your broadcast.

From the "Send Message" page, there is a section called "Audience". Click the "Edit" button in this section. Click the dropdown box for "Include These Lists." From this dropdown, click any list you'd like to include when sending or click the "Include All Lists" option. Please keep in mind that when you are sending to a Segment, that will apply to all included lists as well. If a subscriber is active on multiple lists that you include on the message send, that subscriber will only receive the broadcast message once.

Note: You do not need to check the "Exclude" option for lists you do not want to include - simply do not check the "Include" box on those lists. Learn more about the Exclude function.
