Managing your messages

Learn how to send automated Campaigns and timed Broadcast messages to build a relationship with your subscribers. When both message types are used, you are able to automatically communicate with your subscribers through your Campaigns as well as sending time sensitive messages in the form of a Broadcast. Additionally, you can use the Feed Element to send the content of your blog posts directly to your subscribers or send a Split Test to test different subject lines and message content.


Both campaigns and broadcasts will first be created under the "Drafts" tab. Once your draft is complete, you will be able to add your message to your campaign or send it out as a broadcast to your subscribers.


Broadcast messages are sent to your subscribers based on a specific date and time that you indicate. This can be scheduled to be sent immediately or at a future date and time specified. These messages are a great way for you to send your subscribers time sensitive information such as holiday messages, special time related deals, upcoming events, and more. To create a Broadcast, click the "Messages" tab and select Broadcasts.

Split Tests

Split Tests allow you to send different messages to randomized groups of subscribers in your list. The purpose of a Split Test is to see how subscribers engage with a particular subject line or specific content in your messages. You can schedule messages in a Split Test similarly to how you would schedule a Broadcast message. After the Spit Test has successfully been sent, you can determine a winner (the message that got the most opens or clicks), and then schedule the winning message to send to your remaining subscribers. To create a Split Test, click the "Messages" tab and select Split Tests.


Campaigns messages are automated messages that allow for customization of the content the subscriber receives based on triggers and automations you create.  This is a great option for when you have similar subscribers that you want to send varied content based on a particular form they came in from or choices they've made in a campaign they are already in.  To create a Campaign, click the "Automations" tab and select Campaigns.
