How do I edit the text in my Pages and Messages?

Here are different ways you can edit and format your text in the drag and drop message editor.

Main Toolbar

Click inside a text element to show the formatting bar. All of your text editing and formatting options will be located here. You can change a paragraph to a header, set the font, make a numbered or bulleted list, and insert an image. Click on the three dot menu on the right of the main toolbar to show more options.

Add Text options

In text elements you can click to a new line and click the Add "+" icon for more options. 

You'll be able to select elements that can be added into the your text section and set text styles. 

Text Selection Toolbar

Highlight text within a paragraph to show the formatting bar. This is where you change the style of certain text within a paragraph.

Here's a list of things you can set for your highlighted text with the text selection toolbar:

• Bold
• Italic
• Underline
• Hyperlink

Format Text with Keyboard Shortcuts

Markdown Keyboard Shortcuts

You can practice writing even faster with markdown keyboard shortcuts. This is when you use special characters ( * - _ # > ) and numbers to quickly add headers and format words as you type them.
