Once you have your custom template saved in your account, you will want to apply your custom template for future AWeber broadcasts and/or follow ups. This article explains how you can apply your custom template to your AWeber broadcasts and/or follow ups.
Step By Step Instructions
- When creating a message, you will need to use the drag & drop email builder. Click on the down arrow on the green button to create your message and select "Drag & Drop Email Builder".
- In the message editor, click the "Templates" button in the right hand side of the message editor. This will be located under your "Message Properties" section.
- From here, two options are provided - "Categories" and "My Templates". To find your custom template, click "My Templates".
Note: If applying over a message already created in the drag & drop email builder, make sure to have the "Keep My Message Content" option checked off before applying your custom template. If no message is created yet, have the "Keep My Message Content" option unchecked.
- Scroll through the template gallery to locate your custom saved template. Click on the "+" symbol for the custom template you would like to apply to your message. Each custom template will have a placeholder image that says "Custom Template" underneath. Your custom template name will be listed above our placeholder thumbnail.
Note: If your template is not applied after clicking the "+" symbol, after clicking the thumbnail placeholder of your custom template, click the "Apply" button at the bottom of template gallery.
That's it! Now your custom template will be applied to your message. You can utilize the drag and drop blocks to add elements to the message and/or change your content.
