How do I apply my custom template?

Once you have your custom template saved in your account, you will want to apply your custom template for future AWeber broadcasts and/or campaigns. This article explains how you can apply your custom template to your AWeber broadcasts and/or campaigns.

Step By Step Instructions

Desktop

1. When creating a message, you will need to use the Drag & Drop Email Nuilder. From Messages, click "Create a Message" and select "Drag & Drop Email Builder".
   
   
   
   
2. In the message editor, click the "Templates" button in the right hand side of the message editor. This will be located under the "Message Properties" section.
   
   
   
   
3. From here, two options are provided - "Template Gallery" and"My Templates". To find your custom template, click "My Templates".
   
   
   
   Note: If applying over a message already created in the drag & drop email builder, make sure to have the "Keep My Message Content" option toggled off before applying your custom template to replace all the content with the content and settings of your selected template. 
   
   
   
   
4. Click the template you would like to apply to your message. Then, click the "Apply" button.
   
   

Mobile

1. When creating a message, you will need to use the Drag & Drop Editor. From Messages, click "Create a Message" and select "Drag & Drop Email Builder".
   
   
   
   
2. Within the Drag & Drop Email Builder on mobile, click the ellipsis button located in the top-left corner besides the AWeber logo . Click on "Message Properties" to display additional settings. 
   
   
   
   
3. Tap on "Templates" to display the template gallery.
   
   
   
   
4. From here, two options are provided - "Template Gallery" and"My Templates". To find your custom template, click "My Templates".

5. Click the template you would like to apply to your message. Then, click the "Apply" button.
   
   
   
   

That's it! Now your custom template will be applied to your message. You can utilize the drag-and-drop blocks to add additional elements to the message and/or change your content.
