How Do I Integrate Heyo With AWeber?

Heyo is a great tool for building campaign pages that are optimized specifically for Facebook as well as mobile devices. Heyo is mainly geared towards creating contest, deal, and promotion pages. However, they also allow you to construct your own landing page using their page editor.

Integrating Heyo and AWeber together can either be done by using the AWeber widget within a Heyo campaign page, or by integrating AWeber with a sign up form from one of Heyo's pre-made campaign page templates.

Integrating AWeber a Campaign Page Template

  1. First, go to the "Dashboard" within Heyo for the business that you would like to create the campaign page for. Here click the "Create" button to start a new campaign page.

  2. Next, choose a template that you would like to use for your campaign page. Just navigate to the template you would like to use and click the "Select" button.

    In this example we are choosing the "Sweepstakes" template under the "Contest Templates" category.

  3. Once the template is loaded find the pre-loaded sign up form on the template and then click on it.

  4. In the sidebar on the right side of the page there will now be options for the different email providers that you can integrate with. Click on "AWeber."

    In the sidebar click the "Connect to AWeber" button that appears.

    A window will then appear for you to enter in your AWeber login information. Once you have entered your AWeber login name and password click the "Allow Access" button.

  5. Choose one of your lists within AWeber that you would like to connect to the campaign page.

    Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

  6. Now you are free to make any other edits or adjustments to the campaign page using the Heyo editor. Once you are complete click the "Save & Preview" button at the bottom of the page.

  7. Finally, you will see options for publishing the campaign page to Facebook, Mobile, and to the Web. Choose the options that you would like to use and don't forget to give your campaign a title! Once you are done choosing the options you would like to go with, click the "Publish" button at the bottom of the page.

Now you have completed integrating AWeber with a Heyo campaign page using one of their templates! See the instructions below for inserting a form onto a Heyo campaign template that may not already have a form.

Adding the AWeber Widget to Your Campaign Page Template

  1. First, go to the "Dashboard" within Heyo for the business that you would like to create the campaign page for. Here click the "Create" button to start a new campaign page.

  2. From the campaign page templates that you can choose from, find a template that does not already have a sign up form on it and click the "Select" button.

    In this example, we will select the "Blank" template from under the "Drag-and-Drop Templates" category.

  3. Next, the campaign page editor will load. Find an empty area of your template that you would like to insert a sign up form. If there is not an area to insert a sign up form you may want to consider deleting a widget from the template to make room.

    Find the "AWeber" widget from the sidebar on the right side of the page. Click and drag that widget into the area of your template that you would like the sign up form to appear at.

  4. In that same sidebar where you selected the "AWeber" widget click on the "Connect to AWeber" button.

    A window will then appear for you to enter in your AWeber login information. Once you have entered your AWeber login name and password click the "Allow Access" button.

  5. In the sidebar, select the list from your AWeber account that you would like to connect the sign up form to.

  6. In that same sidebar there will also be additional options for adjusting the formatting of the form. Here you can change the font and colors of the form, as well as the text that displays for the submit button.

    Once you have edited the form to your satisfaction, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

  7. Make any other desired additions and adjustments to your campaign page template and then click the "Save & Preview" button at the bottom of the page.

  8. Finally, you will see option for publishing the campaign page to Facebook, Mobile, or to the Web. Choose the options that you would like to use and don't forget to give your campaign a title! Once you are done choosing the options you would like to go with, click the "Publish" button at the bottom of the page.

Now you will have successfully created a campaign page within Heyo using the AWeber form widget!
