What are the different adding options for the AWeber Atom app?

This article explains the difference between the unlocked mode and the kiosk mode with the AWeber Atom app.

Instructions for the iOS app are below. Instructions for the Android app are further down the page.

You may want to show the name of your list when you add subscribers to your list; however, if you plan on setting up a device to collect subscribers at a kiosk, you can lock the list name from being displayed. This would hide your list name information from potential subscribers when they sign themselves up.

iOS App

1. First, you will need to open the Atom app. You can do so by tapping on the AWeber Atom icon from your device.
   
   
2. After you've selected the list you wanted to add subscribers to, you're provided with the unlocked form. This will display an unlocked icon located in the bottom left hand corner of the app.
   
   
   
   Also, the name of the list you're adding subscribers to is displayed at the top of the app.
   
   
3. If you didn't want your list name to be displayed because you're collecting subscribers at a kiosk/conference, you can tap on the lock symbol to remove the listname from being displayed on the form.
   
   
   
   Note: If a subscriber's email address added is not valid, a role-based email address, or blocked from the list, you would receive an error message. To correct the issue, tap the "OK" button and enter in another email address to add to the list.
   
   
4. If someone attempts to unlock the form, they will be directed to enter in the pin to unlock the form.
   
   
   
   Depending on the Apple device you're using, if you have a Touch ID reader, you can unlock the form by using this feature.
   
   

That's it! Now, you can add subscribers to your list using the AWeber Atom app in either an unlocked mode or the kiosk mode.

Android App

Please Note

A confirmation message will be sent to subscribers added to your list through the Atom app if confirmation is turned on for sign up form submissions. If so, make sure that you customize the confirmation message so customers know why they are being asked to join your mailing list. If you'd like to disable confirmation, you can disable confirmed opt-in in your "List Settings".
