How do I edit an article in my newsletter using Curate?

Once you've curated content into your newsletter using Curate, you'll have the option to personalize the content of your message. This article will walk through how to send a completed message in iOS or Android devices.

The current version of the Curate is 1.2.5 for both iOS and Android. You can download it here for iOS and Android.

iOS

Within the Curate app, you will have the ability to edit the Subject Line and any of the content blocks as well as add an introduction in the Text Area.

You can edit the subject line of your message by tapping the "Subject Line" area at the top of the newsletter.

To edit the Text Area at the top of your newsletter, tap it. This will take you into edit mode where you can make changes.

Curated Block

When you add content from a website URL to your newsletter in Curate, the content will be organized in a "Curated Block". This area will look similar to the following image.

Within the Content Block, you will have the option to delete the image and source, and edit the title and description. To do this, tap the edit icon.

The three icons have different functions in the app.

Tap edit icon You can make changes to the message by selecting the Edit option.
Selecting Edit option You can go back to the original website using the Direct Link option.
Return to original website with direct link You can remove the Content Block by tapping the Delete option.

After selecting the Edit option, you will be taken to the section of Curate where changes are made to your "Curated Block".

Note: You can also edit any section just by tapping on it.

When you select the curated block to edit it, you can tap to change the image, headline, or content of your message. Once you have made changes to your curated block, just tap the check mark located in the top right of the app.

You then see the changes that you have made. For the following example, I have edited the title and description as well as removed the the "AWeber.com" source link.

Android

Within the Curate app, you will have the ability to edit the Subject Line, any of the content blocks, as well as add an introduction in the Text Area.

You can edit the subject line of your message by tapping the "Subject Line" area at the top of the newsletter.

To edit the Text Area at the top of your newsletter, tap it. Then, tap the edit icon. This will take you into edit mode where you can make changes.

Once you tap the area to edit the introduction, you can add in your content directly.

At the bottom right of this block, there are three options. Each icon provides you with an option for editing your newsletter.

Remember, after making any changes to the newsletter you will need to tap the check mark icon in the top right to save.
