Can I Start Subscribers on a Specific Campaign Message?

When Subscribers are added to your campaign sequences, they will start from the Trigger Action, which enrolls them, and then proceed through any messages and actions the campaign is to take in their set sequential order, from top to bottom. Because of this, subscribers cannot be set to specific parts of a campaign.

If a collection of subscribers need to start from a later section of your campaign sequence, they cannot skip through your existing campaign, however, you can create an identical copy of your campaign in a separate sequence. You would then edit this new campaign, and remove all the messages earlier in the sequence that you wanted subscribers to skip. You would add your intended subscribers to this alternate accelerated campaign so they can get to the later messages instead of your standard one.

Note: If your intended workflow sends date/time sensitive message series, and newer subscribers joining do not need to receive the messages they missed out on, you may be better served arranging your messages as Broadcasts. Broadcast messages can be scheduled out at specific dates and times in advance and only send once. Subscribers joining later would only receive the newest message sent and skip previous messages sent before they were added to your list.

You can make a copy of your campaign by clicking the three dots icon to the right of your existing campaign. In the menu that appears, click "Copy."
