How do I turn my Campaign off?
Managing your campaigns effectively is essential to ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation. Turning a campaign from "On" to "Off" is a quick and straightforward process that allows you to pause activity when needed, whether for strategic adjustments, budget considerations, or campaign completion. In this article, we'll guide you through the steps to turn a campaign "Off", helping you maintain control and flexibility in your marketing efforts.

Navigate to the Campaigns page.
Once you're logged in, look for the "Campaigns" option in the main menu. This section houses all your on and off campaigns.

Find the "On" Campaign.
Browse through your list of campaigns to find the one that you'd like to turn "Off". You can easily identify turned "On" campaigns by their status indicated next to the campaign name. Or, you could select the "On" section to only display your turned "On" Campaigns.

Turn the Campaign back "On".
Click either the name of the Campaign or hover over the right panel and click the "Edit" button.

Toggle the Campaign "Off".
In the Campaign builder, toggle the On/Off switch to turn the campaign "Off".

Check the Campaign Status
Once the Campaign is turned "Off", the status of your campaign changes from "On" to "Off". This means your campaign will not send to new subscribers who are added to your list.
What happens when a Campaign is turned "Off"?
When a campaign is "Off", new subscribers will not get added to the campaign. All current subscribers will stop receiving messages in the campaign as well. Once the campaign is turned "On", existing subscribers will continue to progress through the campaign on schedule. Subscribers that were added to your list while the campaign was "Off" can be added to the campaign manually. While the campaign is "Off", actions like sending messages and applying or removing tags are "Off", but subscribers will continue through the Wait action they are currently associated with.
Note: If the campaign is "Off" for longer then the total time on a Wait action, the action following the wait will take place immediately upon turning the campaign "On". If there is a send window in place, the action will take place at the next available send window after the campaign is turned "On".
If you happen to see your campaign is "Off" with a notice of "Issues Found", this is typically due to having an empty "Send Message" action in your campaign. Adding a message to the missing section of your campaign should resolve this issue for you so you can turn your campaign status to "On".
