How do I integrate SurveyMonkey with AWeber?

SurveyMonkey is a great way to design professional surveys to sample your audience and gather information.  With SurveyMonkey's platform, you can send your surveys via email, mobile, chat, social and more. With the AWeber integration through Zapier, you can benefit from SurveyMonkey by gathering subscribers who fill out your surveys.

The AWeber integration with SurveyMonkey through Zapier allows you to have subscribers added to your AWeber mailing list when they fill out your survey.

Step By Step Instructions

  1. If you haven't done so already, create a survey using SurveyMonkey. Once created, log into Zapier and click the "Create Zap" button located at the top-right.

  2. Next, search for or select SurveyMonkey from the "App Event" section.

  3. Name your Zap. Then, select the Trigger Event from the available options for this Zap.

  4. Once selected, click "Continue".

  5. Then, sign into or select your SurveyMonkey account.

  6. Once signed in, click "Continue".

  7. Next, choose the survey that will be used for this trigger. Then, click "Continue".

  8. You'll then be given the option to test this connection. Click "Test trigger".

  9. Next, you'll see the results of the test. If the test fails, you can either click "Skip test" or "Test trigger" again.

  10. You will see the Example Response, and click "Continue".

  11. Now, select or search for AWeber under "App Event".

  12. Then, choose an event and click "Continue".

  13. Next, click "Save + Continue" located in the bottom right.

  14. On this step, you can connect your AWeber account or choose an already connected account from the "Select AWeber Accounts..." option.

  15. Click "Save + Continue" to finish this step.

  16. You'll now be prompted to match information from SurveyMonkey and the selected AWeber account to specify what information you would like to collect for your subscribers. Account ID, List ID, and Email are all required; all other fields are optional.

  17. Once you've matched the fields in this step, click "Continue" located in the bottom right.

  18. On the next page, you will have the option to test AWeber by creating a new subscriber.

  19. You can choose to skip the test by clicking the "Skip Test" button, or send the test to AWeber by clicking the "Sent Test To AWeber" button.

  20. Once you have either skipped the test or sent a test, click "Finish" to complete the action step for this Zap on the following page.

  21. Finally, you will be promoted to name your Zap.

    That's it! You've successfully integrated SurveyMonkey with AWeber. To enable this Zap, you would need to toggle the "Your Zap Is..." switch from OFF to ON.
