How can I remove a subscriber from a Campaign using Tags?
In this article, we explain how to remove a subscriber from a specific Campaign using Tags.
AWeber's Campaign feature is highly customizable through the use of Tags. You are able to apply Tags to subscribers based on clicks and opens, trigger a unique series of messages, and remove subscribers from a Campaign. Combining all of these features gives you the ability to create a unique email sequence for each of the subscribers that are added to your list.
Step By Step Instructions
- After creating your Campaign, look in the top right corner of the page for the section labeled "Campaign Options". Within that section, click the "Add Automation" button.
Note: If you do not see this section, you may need to exit out of a separate section. Take a look at the example image below, where the "Send Message" element is currently selected.
Clicking on the "X" in the top right corner will reveal the "Campaign Options" section. - After clicking the "Add Automation" button, you'll see the "Subscriber Automations" section containing an empty text box. Within that empty text box, specify the Tags that you would like to trigger the removal of subscribers from this Campaign. Be sure to separate your Tags with commas.
- Finally, click the "Apply" button to apply your changes.
That's it! Now, once any of the Tags you specified is applied to a subscriber, they will be removed from the Campaign.
