How do I disable Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox?
Enhanced Tracking Protection is a setting in Firefox that blocks cookies, ad, and analytics trackers when they determine a website is tracking information. This setting can conflict with different features in AWeber, like our Facebook sign up form widget.
If you're using the Firefox browser and having difficulty adding a form to your Facebook page, or difficulty completing any other tasks, you may need to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection prior to completing your task. Once the task is complete, you can re-enable the setting.
In this article, we are going to walk through the steps to temporarily disable this setting in your browser.
Step By Step Instructions
- Once you open the Firefox browser and visit the website that you would like to work with, click the shield icon to the left of the address bar.
- Then, turn the 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' toggle off. Complete your task as needed, return to this section, and enable it if you'd like it turned back on.
And that's it! If you're still having difficulty accomplishing a task in AWeber or using a particular feature, feel free to contact our Customer Solutions team.
