How do I use the social element in my landing page?

Landing pages are an excellent resource that you can use to help build not only your subscriber list, but your overall social media presence as well. By providing an easy way for subscribers to visit your social media pages, you'll find your influence growing. 

This article explains how to use the social element when creating your landing page with AWeber's powerfully-simple builder.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. After creating your landing page, drag the social element from the left side of the page onto the canvas where you'd like it to appear.

  2. Once it has been placed, you'll see additional settings appear to the right of your landing page. Under the 'Accounts' section, you'll find an 'Edit' and 'Remove' button for each of the default social media platforms listed. Click 'Edit' to reveal a text box where you can place the URL to your social media page.

    If you'd like to link to one of your own pages, an alternate social media page, or create a mailto link, paste the URL of that website or your email address in the text box displayed below, and click 'Add.'

    Links to the following platforms will have an icon automatically generated on your landing page:

    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, Pinterest, Snapchat, Shopify, Etsy, Spotify, iTunes, Medium, Reddit, Email addresses, Website (generic link).

  3. Once you've configured your URL, be sure to click 'Done' so that your changes are saved.

  4. Further down the right side of the page, you'll find a Design section, where you can configure the visual representation of your social media icons. Alter the size, alignment, shape, and color theme by engaging with the icons listed in this section.

Congratulations! Get ready to see your overall social media presence grow with your newly configured social media icons. Don't forget to publish your landing page after saving your changes.
